How do I place a free recruitment ad (I am a direct employer)?
How do I place a free recruitment ad (I am a recruitment service)?

introduction ::

There are a bewildering number of options available to the Irish employer who wishes to advertise a vacancy online today. If you perform a simple search in "Google" for jobs websites in Ireland you will find countless companies, all claiming to be the best. It can be difficult to decide which one is the best option for you.

However all of these sites have one thing in common: they cost you money. After researching the prices I can tell you that they begin at €100 and rise to several hundred euros for each position advertised. This seems a rather expensive outlay, especially if you advertise frequently.

But here on everything.ie you can advertise any number of vacancies entirely free of charge.

why you should use everything.ie to recruit ::

(1) It's completely free for you to use.

(2) At the moment the site is primarily aimed at and used by young, well educated individuals including 3rd level students and recent graduates. If these are the kind of people you would like to have working for you or your company, then placing an ad is worthwhile.

(3) That said, as the site grows, it shall attract a wide range of demographics due to its varied content. Thus all positions at all levels are equally welcome on the site.

(3) At the asking price there is very little for you to loose in trying the service.

how to place your recruitment ad on everything.ie ::

If you are a recruitment agency:

(1) Please follow the instructions listed bellow for direct employers with ONE exception.

(2) You must include the word "Recruit" in the overall title of your ad. This is so people can tell which jobs are placed by recruitment companies and which are placed by direct employers. Please remember to do this.

(3) For example here is how the title of your ad might appear:

"Temporary Accountants Required:: €10-13 per hour:: Recruit"

If you are a direct employer:

Placing an ad in the "jobs" section of everything.ie is an extremely simple process. It should only take a few minutes to get your ad online.

(1) Go to www.everything.ie and click on the subcategory of the "jobs" section which best suits the position you are advertising for. For example if you are trying to fill a receptionist position, then click on the "admin / office / secretarial" link.

(2) When you are taken to the subcategory of your choice choose the "click here to a post a new ad" link to proceed.

(3) The posting form has been designed with ease of use in mind and so does not need much explanation. There are two things you should note however.

(4) On the posting page be sure to choose the "Shorter Duration" option (this decides how long you want your ad to appear for). If you leave the duration of the ad to "Regular" your ad will appear on the site for longer than you would probably wish. Also, make sure to enter a password so you can edit or delete your ad at a later stage if you so wish.

If you are having trouble, feel free to contact me and I will be happy to assist you. You can contact me by clicking here.

(4) Try to choose a catchy title for your ad to encourage people to read the content. It also helps to include the salary in the title and then to give further details inside. Here's an example of a useful title:

"Full-Time Customer Service Representatives required for Busy Call Centre:: €24,000"

(5) If you want to find out how to include bullet points, bold or underlined text in your ads then click here.
